Established in 1995 in Willetton, Perth, Western Australia, Windows West moved to a purpose built facility in Henderson, WA in 2000.
Originally, Windows West concentrated on the Marine market providing customised solutions for a range of customers from production and custom pleasure craft manufacturers to ferry and patrol boat manufacturers.
In 2003 Windows West became the first WA marine manufacturer to integrate Marine Grade locks into their doors as standard product, using the Italian made FR&C range, via importer Gineico marine equipment.
We continue to utilise and supply their products for a variety of applications.
Not long after, our innovative designs, manufacturing experience and excellent customer service began to be recognised in other fields, resulting in requests for new projects in varied fields.
In 2005 Windows West expanded operations, acquiring our present 1280m2 purpose built facility at 8 Redemptora Rd Henderson.
In 2007 we first purchased CNC cutting & machining systems utilising the latest computer technology to assist us in providing the best quality manufacturing possible for our window and door systems.
In 2009/10 we opened our Commercial Window arm – offering boutique solutions to Commercial building window/door/glazing requirements.
In 2023 we purchased Kontrail, a long-established Henderson based Watertight & Weather-Tight Door & hatch manufacturing company, who supplied many of our existing clients.
Kontrail is now fully integrated into the WW manufacturing facility, producing all products as previous, including in-house CNC machining of all proprietary components/parts & mechanisms.
This has led to expanded processes & materials types for our products, also driving further advances in CNC machinery & automated processes to improve quality, repeatability & lead times:
In short, the addition of the Kontrail product line allows Windows West to be a “one-stop shop” for our Marine clients window, door & hatch requirements.
Our company employs approximately 15-20 local people, and we pride ourselves on our dedicated long-serving staff and a family type working environment.
