Application
Aft and sheltered side entry door sets to commercial and pleasure craft.
Format
Hinged: Can be supplied in single, double, bifold, triple and quad opening formats. Locking systems can be supplied in single, double or triple latch point.
Sliding: Can be supplied in single or double sliding formats.
- All formats are available with or without midrails.
Construction
Doors are mitred and fully welded so generally supplied in hard corner format only, however radius corners can be accommodated on special application.
Hinges are an H/D S/S pintle style.Sliding systems are “Ronstan” 385 tracks and S/S carriages that are top hung to stop fouling.
All locks are marine grade; cylinders are available in a variety of grades.
Glazing
6-10mm toughened safety glass (direct glazed style) or panel.
Components
Body: A dedictaed Marine door section. Glazing is secured via the “Sikaflex” direct glazing system. The subsequent flush (flat) front facia allows the door to blend seamlessly with the modern window styling used on the majority of vessels today.
- Hinged Outer Frame (medium): Used on smaller hinged doors with 1-point locking only.
- Hinged Outer Frame (heavy): Used on larger 1-point locking and all 3-point or multiple panel doors.
- Sliding Adaptor: Slips over the top of the assembled door to allow rollers to be fitted.
- Sliding Outer Frame: Used on single panel, or double sliding over existing B/H doors.
- Multi-panel sliding door sets use various custom-made outer frames.
