Note: For entry door applications on;
- Commercial Vessels this suite is generally replaced by “Direct Glazed Facia Doors”
- Pleasure Vessels this suite is generally replaced by “All Purpose Doors”
Applications:
Aft Entry door sets for pleasure craft & external toilet door sets on commercial passenger ferries.
Format:
Hinged: Can be supplied in single, double, bifold, triple and quad opening formats.
Sliding: Can be supplied in single or double sliding formats.
Construction:
- Supplied in hard corner format only.
- Stiles (vertical) are joined to rails (horizontal) via a block-and-screw formation known as a “spiggot” that sits inside all butt joints.
- Hinges are a stainless steel fast-fix.
- Sliding systems are “Ronstan” 385 tracks and stainless steel carriages that are top hung to stop fouling.
- All locks are marine grade; cylinders are available in a variety of grades.
Glazing:
Will accept any 4-10mm glazing or panel.
Components:
H/D door components are all 45mm Commercial (shopfront) door suite sections that have been assembled in such a way as to produce a door that is suitable for limited marine usage.
