Internal Ferry Style Doors

Application

Suitable for any non-watertight internal usage door on any vessel; often used on Ferries and Charter vessels.

Format

Can be supplied in 100mm radius or mitred or ‘open bottom’ formats; particularly effective is radiused top corners and either mitred bottom corners with sill or open bottom – no sill. This door also adapts very well to toilet cubical type useage (inward or outward opening) as the drawings below illustrate.

Construction

Fully welded outer frames. Mitred/butt joint capping frame around door panel. Midrail separates panel into halves, allowing a greater range of door sizes whilst reducing panel wastage. Leversets/locks can vary dependant on application, however most widely used are the ‘Carbine’ 8000 leverset range, which can be keyed to a wide
variety of formats. Privacy latches and door closers can also be fitted as required.

Glazing

20mm panel, generally lightweight aluminium ‘Hex-Core’ with 0.5mm ali skins covered by clients choice of laminate.

Components
